Home for Children without Parental Care "Mladost" in Bijela is the only home that provides accommodation for children without parental care. There are 140 children accommodated in the Home, organized in 8 families based on age and gender of children, so in this Home there are children straight from maternity hospital as well as secondary school students.

The Home stands on the fact that this method of providing care is the last alternative, but when children come here they must get the most possible, what can be seen from work organization, tidiness of the premises, professional cadre.

Ombudsmen for Children Nada Grahovac, PhD and psychologist Andrea Stankovic have spoken with the employees of this institution as well as with the children that are living here.

At the beginning of July, a group of children from this home will be staying in Home for Children without Parental Care "Rada Vranjesevic", Banja Luka while at the same time group of children from "Rada Vranjesevic" Banja luka will be staying in their Home in Bijela.
