On March 25th and 26th , a seminar on 'Human trafficking-sexual exploitation was held on Jahorina, organized by the Association of Women Judges of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Attendees were introduced to combat strategy and operational activities and practices of prosecutors in the fight against trafficking and sexual exploitation. In addition to judges and prosecutors the seminar was attended by the Gender Centre of Republic of Srpska, the Centre for Social Work, Banja Luka, and the Ombudsman for Children of Republic of Srpska.

Ombudsman for Children spoke about the problems of implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the need of special sensitivity of all institutions in detecting and prosecuting all cases of sexual abuse in which children are victims.
