The first house for parents of children with difficult diseases has been opened n Banja Luka. The house will accommodated parents from other areas of the Republic of Srpska whose children have been hospitalized or in treatment in the Hematological-Oncology Department of the University Clinical Center in Banjaluka. The house will be available for use in the next two months.
The Republic of Srpska President, Mr Milorad Dodik, has officially opened the house in presence of parents, children, the Mayor of Banjaluka, the Director of the Clinic, and representatives of the NGO „Iskra".
The association of citizens who gather parents and children diagnosed with cancer „Iskra" initiated activities for construction of the house for parents. Following the last-year donors' conference „With love to brave hearts" organized by the President of the Republic, the activities were successfully implemented.
