The annual conference and session of the Assembly of the European Network of Ombudsman for Children (ENOC) was held in Brussels from September 24th to 27th, 2013 where Deputy of Ombudsman for Children of Republic of Srpska Mr. Zlatoljub Mišić was present. Topic of this year's conference was "Children in Migration ".

Opinions and views about the existing legal solutions, strategies and practices and their compliance with the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child and other international instruments for protecting children were exchanged during the three working days of the conference. Ombudsman for Children representative had a presentation on "Sexual Exploitation of Children in the Republic of Srpska" and introduced members of ENOC with the latest legal decisions and action taken in the field that contribute to improvement of the system of child protection in the Republic of Srpska.

After a comprehensive discussion, the members of ENOC proposed specific measures and recommendations for improving the current situation of children in migration and their best interest with basic message: "Children in migration are primarily children."
