The Faculty of Law, University of Istočno Sarajevo in partnership with the Ombudsman for Children and the Gender Centre - is a host of a scientific conference to be held on June 29-3. 2012.

At the Scientific Conference , experts from various fields, from numerous faculties from territory of former Yugoslavia, from several aspects will highlight the problem of normative and actual in realization and protection of the rights of the child.

With their expertise and experience, the profession in this manner provides better understanding of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the causes that lead to violation of these rights and points to the need for changes of positive legal solutions and their full compliance with international standards with the aim of more complete realization of the rights of the child.

In the work of the Scientific Conference representatives of relevant ministries also participate, representatives of relevant institutions of justice, education, social protection and Young Advisors of the Ombudsman for Children Nikolina Samardžija, Gordan Vračar and Marijana Granzov.
