The Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Republic of Srpska in cooperation with the Gender Centre of Republic of Srpska organized a Conference on "Youth participation in the development of gender equality". Present high school students were welcomed by the Minister of Family, Youth and Sports Nada Tešanović and Director of the Gender Centre Spomenka Krunić.

The Conference was attended by 11 Young Advisors of the Ombudsman for Children who have prepared presentation "Young Advisors of the Ombudsman for Children and children's rights in the light of gender equality". Presenter Nikolina Čivčić, student of the Medical School from Banja Luka, presented the views and experiences of the NYA regarding the rights of the child and gender equality, whereby she pointed to the need of participation of children and the free expression of views on all issues and on gender equality. Young Advisors together with members of mResurs actively participated in the work of groups that after working part gave recommendations for further action of young people in development of gender equality.
