Representatives of the Ombudsman for Children of RS attended the Conference European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) in Belgrade on May 30-31.2011. The Conference is the European contribution to the International Forum on Governance lead by United Nations.

On the Conference it was discussed about the impact of Internet governance on our lives from a European perspective, about new Internet resources, Internet literacy, safety of children on the Internet, social networks, as well as cyberspace security and data protection on the Internet. The need to harmonize the relevant legal regulations in Europe was also emphasized through the exchange of experiences in all European countries, and finally the purpose of the Conference was dialogue, exchange of experiences and synchronizing of future activities and views of all countries of Europe.

The Conference was attended by about 300 representatives of governments, regulatory agencies, civil sector from many European countries, as well as representatives of Council of Europe, European Union, Microsoft, Google and other relevant organizations and companies.
