As it was noticed that one number of children begin their education but do not complete it, the Ombudsman for Children of Republic of Srpska, in order to protect the rights of children to education and the obligation to take all necessary measures to provide for every child the right to education, has addressed all primary and secondary schools in Republic of Srpska in order to determine the prevalence of this phenomena in the school year 2009/2010. and 2010/2011, the number of children, the reasons that led up to it, the age and gender, and whether and what measures are undertaken in this regard.

The obtained data will direct the activities to finding solutions so that no child shall be outside the educational system.
