Ms Geete Narayan, the Unicef  Country Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the Institution of the Ombudsman fro Children on 20 April, 2017. Ms Narayan discussed numerous issues related to the protection of the child with the Ombudsman for Children, Ms Nada Grahovac. Among the other issues, the improvement in the area of the children's protection against different forms of violence, abuse and neglect, changes of the Criminal Code were discussed as well as the need to change the Family law, especially in the part that regulates rights of the children without parental care.

Both parties agreed that the successful cooperation between the Ombudsman for Children and Unicef should be continued in all areas relevant for the protection of the children's rights.
