Cooperation with the non-governmental sector provides for exchange of experiences and practices in the field of protection of children and their interests. With that in mind, the Ombudsman for Children participated in the Conference organised by the World Vision BiH. The other participants in the Conference were representatives of the Republic Pedagogic Institute, schools, social welfare centers, police stations, health care centers, and local communities from Banjaluka, Krupa na Vrbasu, Kola, Bronzani Majdan, Celinac, Kotor Varos, Maslovare and Knezevo. These communities have been parts of World Vision for years.
During the meeting the World Vision Strategy has been developed for the Office in Banjaluka for the period 2017 -2020. The work was organized in two groups per topics - education and children's protection. The participants contributed with the proposals for improvement of quality in children's protection and increase of the inclusion index. Together with adults, the students of the Primary School "Sveti Sava" and Secondary school from Kotor Varos took active part in the work and expressed their positions regarding inclusion, education, and protection of children. They have invited adults to take their recommendation into consideration.
